A performance in which the venue and the stage-tech itself play the main part. We composed a piece of music with the resources and sounds already at hand in the theatre; the klanging and banging of fluorescent lights turning on and off, the hiss of the smoke machine, the buzzing of the moving heads and the dimmers and the electro-static field of LED’s. By approaching the theater space both as a performer and as an instrument, a performance emerges that maintains the middle ground between choreography, concert, and theater production.
